Paul Kramer
Forty years connecting industry, engineering and opportunity.
For forty years, curiosity has driven my work across industry — from filtration,
HVAC and electronics to cement, waste, food and process engineering.
My work was always called sales, business development or management, but in
industry those disciplines rarely stop at the commercial question. To solve a
problem, I first had to understand what was actually happening inside the process:
how air and gases move, where pressure is lost, how heat is transferred, why
particles separate — or fail to separate — and how the design of equipment
influences the result.
Over the years, those questions brought me increasingly close to engineers and
technical specialists. That is also how I entered the world of CFD. I discovered
that Computational Fluid Dynamics could make visible many of the phenomena I had
spent decades discussing and observing in real installations. Flow, temperature,
pressure, combustion and particle behaviour could suddenly be analysed before
equipment was actually built or modified.
Parametric engineering was the logical next step. Once CFD shows where and why
a design can be improved, parametric modelling makes it possible to translate
that knowledge efficiently into adaptable engineering — creating variants for
different dimensions, capacities and operating conditions without starting
from scratch.
For me, this does not replace forty years of industrial experience.
It extends it.
Business development identifies the opportunity and the real customer needs.
CFD helps us understand the physics behind it. Parametric engineering helps
turn that understanding into practical designs.
So, this is what I do today.
Over time, experience also became a network connecting companies, engineers
and specialist knowledge across the globe. PJWK brings those elements together:
industrial experience and specialised engineering capability.
My motivation remains unchanged:
Understand what is really happening, connect the right expertise and use that
knowledge to make something genuinely better.
